Micah Mosley

Software Engineer @ Google

Micah Mosley is a Software Engineer with 2 years of professional experience, including as a Microservices developer and more recently, as a Site Reliability Engineer. Micah currently works in the Site Reliability Engineering organization at Google where he works on large scale distributed systems and the many challenges that come with it including load balancing, capacity management, and fault tolerance. Micah has been through the interview process and received offers from multiple FAANG companies and is currently an interviewer at Google. Brian began his career as an English teacher but turned web developer in 2016. After spending a year mentoring other aspiring devs at his boot camp, he joined Veryable to fix, expand, and eventually revamp the entire web frontend of their marketplace. Along the way, he had the privilege to recruit, train, learn from, and lead a number of engineers, one of whom founded Hanawilo. After managing first the frontend team and then the entire tech team, Brian longed to return to teaching. Now he teaches English and keeps up with tech on the side. He's still passionate about helping people learn the skills they need to enter the profession.

Ryan Choe

Software Engineer @ Nextworld ERP

Ryan Choe is a Software Engineer with 2+ years of professional experience. Ryan has been apart of 2 start-up companies, each at different stages, where he has designed, implemented, and tested new features. Ryan initially worked at an early start up, Flowstate Technologies, as a full-stack developer, and integrated release centered features. He held multiple roles throughout Flowstate, where he was responsible for training and mentoring junior developers. Ryan currently works as a Software Engineer on the Client team at Nextworld and mainly focuses on Frontend development. Ryan has been through various interview processes and received offers from FAANG companies. This allows him to have a broad perspective and insight on differing interview practices from start-ups to Big Tech companies. 

Colin Mosley

Software Engineer @ Bloomberg

Colin Mosley is a Software Engineer with 2 years of professional experience, working previously as a microservices developer and now as a full stack software engineer. Currently, Colin works in the Financial Analytics organization at Bloomberg, where he works on delivering new features for Bloomberg’s main product, the terminal. Having gone through multiple interviewing cycles and experiencing many rounds of DSA and System Design interviews, he has a good understanding of the interview process and what strategies to apply when tackling it and preparing for technical interviews.

Steven Calhoun

Steven moved into software engineering after working in multiple marketing roles. His hobby of tinkering with computers combined with exposure to web development and data analysis in his marketing roles sparked an interest in software engineering. He holds a bachelor's degree in advertising and has completed a full-stack bootcamp at General Assembly. He loves sci-fi, bouldering, and anything chocolate.
